Here’s another trend from Pitti that’s kinda ridiculous, but, I’m not gonna lie, looked pretty smashing on some of these Italian guys - trousers (finished with cuffs and everything) tapered so aggressively that they get caught on socks (of the longer variety) and stack around their upper calves and knees. Some of the dudes walking around the show were showing an insane amount of sock thanks to this. It’s just another element of sprezzatura that’s as unplanned as it is completely, 100% intentional. The Sartorialist saw this one coming from a mile away.
